another victory.
Fabi got his passport today. Another victory. the only favor he's asking of me is to write him an invitation letter. i had never heard of such a thing before until i started dating him and then started making plans for him to come visit.
I've searched online and seen a few examples. it doesn't seem complicated, yet, i want to get it right. it doesn't necessarily guarantee approval of a visa but if you have it, why not present it. i can't fax it so i am just going to attatch it to an e-mail and he can print it. I've seen a few examples of people who put in phone numbers and address so if someone from the consulate needed to call and verify, they could. he pretty much told me the letter would be better suited if it was addressed as a family inviting him to stay for his vacation as opposed to, 'my girlfriend wants me to come' y'know...because those people are always suspicious that travelers want to stay in the country and not return. I'm going to begin to write it tomorrow with the help of mom just to get another opinion. i'll go over it with fabin and if he likes it, it'll be one of the documents he will be taking with him once he sets up his interview for the visa.

He's going to have to upgrade to the new biometric passport once the visa requirement is eliminated for Uruguayans to travel to the U.S. so i know when that happens, it'll be so much easier for the both of us. It really is a God sent that our country got this agreement with Uruguay and that's a powerful sign to me that things will go well for the final 3 months we have left until he gets here. I told him to take things one task a a time instead of lumping everything he has to do into one thought process. everything is going to be overwhelming if he thinks about it all at once. one thing at a time. staying positive. thinking constantly that God will facilitate everything come show time because we have a purpose to carry out and that is a big reason all on it's own to fight and carry out all our hopes and dreams for our future. We support each other and will continue to do so. Right now, i am savoring another victory in our favor with delight. I can't wait for the final hurdle in this trip saga.

If anyone reads this, prayers will be appreciated.
