The bracelet she gave me almost three weeks ago was still sitting on my desk in that little green box. I hadn't worn it yet. I wondered if i should. I wouldn't want for it to accidentally fall off my wrist while i was at work. I thought about wearing something else and without even really thinking about it too carefully, my necklace came to mind. I actually got up, then stopped. That little gold necklace with the dove at the end and almost immediately as i touched my neck with my hand, i remembered. It's sitting somewhere about 700 miles away from here... |
